In the kit I received the handle and lever are one piece and the lever cannot be replaced so make sure you really need the lever before ordering. Ordered this to replace my 1500 kit with a better 1700 kit and have new internals. This kit works very well and looks a lot better than the old one. I tried to do a little research myself without having to contact anyone (Delta) and found that my kit (see picture) is a 1500 kit and this rebuild works. simply good. This kit helped me replace the leaking valves in my old 1500 faucet with parts to make it look like a new 1700 faucet. The new model is really nicer than the original 1500, so I'm very happy.
