I bought this product but was unable to use it. Disassembly started well but I was unable to remove the brass cap/ring from the body. I've sprayed, tapped on PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, etc. It has NOT come off. In the end, the drainage system broke. I had to cut the drywall on the other side and run to the store to get a new shower set with a switch. After I finally soldered and replaced everything, we tried removing the original brass cap just to see if we could. We put it in a vise and STILL couldn't move that brass fitting. In some scenarios, if that fixture has been there for more than 20 years, you cannot remove it without serious consequences. As I learned the hard way.
