Review on Digital Converter Coaxial Toslink Optical by Patrick Matin

Doesn't work, maybe only 24 bit?

Doesn't work with my stereo. I needed an extra input and had a spare TOSLINK input so I figured it would be cheap enough for the price. This should convert the analog input to a S/PDIF (PCM) output. But it did not work. I flashed the "pcm" light on my receiver when it was plugged in, but there was no sound. When I turn on PCM on my receiver it just flashes and doesn't hang. Just in case, I've tried all sorts of cables and USB power adapters, but none of them could convert to digital and work with my stereo. I think it's tied to 24bit/48kHz or some other weird spec for "LPCM" that isn't a standard S/PDIF topology. It has to be 16-bit PCM 2ch STEREO (usually up to 48kHz), not multi-channel LPCM - obviously it only has 2ch inputs (left and right), it MUST be converted to stereo PCM!
