I bought this thermometer because I need to check customers' temperature for my business. My customers love them because we don't touch their skin to disinfect it. I don't know how long this will take, but it works very well, although we've been checking over 20 people daily for the past few weeks with no issues. But to be honest, people don't use it for personal purposes as much as I do, so I won't complain unless it takes a very long time.
