The silicone strap originally fitted to my Garmin Vivoactive caused a skin reaction on my wrist. I had to find another bracelet or I wouldn't be able to wear the fitness tracker anymore. I originally looked at a leather watch strap but quickly dismissed it as leather is not easily washed and I could only imagine the odor it would produce if soaked with sebum, sweat and salts. The nylon strap was very easy to attach. With the included pins it fits comfortably, wears well and doesn't seem to cause any of the skin reactions that come with using a silicone strap. In addition, the belt can be washed, there were no problems getting it wet when washing your hands; and dries very quickly. All in all a great product and I would highly recommend it as a replacement if you have any reactions to the original silicone strap.
