Review on Hunter 99121 Universal Ceiling Fan by James Yarbrough

An incredibly important feature was left out in both the Hunter Remote Fan Manual and Hunter FAQ. If you want your ceiling fan's light to dim (assuming it has dimmable bulbs), hold "0" and press the light button twice (while holding "0"). Once you've done that (to enable dimming), you can hold down the backlight up and down buttons to adjust the brightness of the dimming. I don't understand why this isn't stated anywhere in the instructions. Yes, you will also need to mount the receiver in the fan even if you are upgrading from an old Hunter remote to this new model. This is a job for 2 people! Fans are not easy! Other than that, this remote was a great replacement for our old remote from 12 years ago!
