Bodum has always been at home for a decade. The last one broke when we moved and I wanted a new one that would fit in my new kitchen. There aren't many copper plated products on the market without an outrageous price tag. Given a chance by someone who thought it would at least be a good looking design item if not up to my Bodum level expectations. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised: the glass is like a tick, fits snugly against the cylinder wall, the press fits snugly and doesn't wobble, the accessories that come with it are just nice extras (filters, spoons, details) and I can make my coffee great enjoy - for the money saved. I wonder how they can make a profit at this price but I won't complain. I will check out BonVivo products, my love for Bodum is in jeopardy when all their products are as good as this french press.
