I got this because I travel a lot for work and I'm really tired of just working on my Chromebook. I have two great desktop monitors at home and they are much easier to work with. But when I'm traveling for work I wanted to have a similar setup, so I set out to find a good portable monitor that was within my budget. I finally settled on this one and overall I'm glad I did. I tried taking a few shots next to my Chromebook to show the quality of the screen, but I feel like the camera just doesn't capture it well enough. Personally it looks very nice and I am satisfied with the color. Out of the box it looked a bit washed out due to the colour, but it has a lot of color options so I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out which settings looked good on my eyes. My Chromebook doesn't support sending video and powering over USB c so unfortunately I have to power it separately, but that's an issue as my Chromebook is older and doesn't have a monitor. I am currently charging it with an Anker portable power bank and it works very well. I use the USB to USB cable that came with it, but it's been a bit long since I've used a power bank. The mains charger is included so the cable is long enough for it, but I think it's better to invest in a smaller cable so I don't have so many extra cables between the monitor and the power supply. This is just my personal preference, so things like this depend on how you want to use and enable them. My favorite part is that it works with my dockless Switch. I didn't buy it for that, but I take my Switch with me everywhere, so I decided to use it for gaming as well. I tried it with the dock first and it worked great, but I don't always like to take the dock with me when I travel to work. I figured it wouldn't hurt to just try the USB-C cable and see what happens. I'm glad I did this as it works great without the dock. My Switch's battery drains a little quicker, but that's to be expected, and I've never had time to play for more than a few hours anyway. Again, I have to use the power bank to power the monitor as my switch can't provide power, but it works without a dock and made my travels a little more fun. Overall I can say that I am very satisfied with this monitor. It looks great, helps me be more productive, and it's great that I can now play my Switch on the big screen.
