Don't expect it to shine immediately after plugging it in for the first time. It was a low-contrast "fog". You need to calibrate it. Next you need to calibrate it differently depending on the connection you are using. But when it was finished, this monitor definitely lived up to my skeptical expectations. - The case/stand is magnetic so it is easy to attach/detach when you want the monitor to be caseless. - The image is almost the same brightness as my main laptop screen and almost invisible.
