I tested this USB-C hub adapter on a brand new HP Envy 13 Windows 10 laptop with one USB-C port and two regular USB ports. The laptop does not have an HDMI port. Right out of the box I was delighted with how durable this JUEYING USB-C adapter is. It's lightweight but feels like it's made of aluminum. The laptop quickly recognized the adapter and installed the necessary driver. At this point I was connected to the internet, but no action was required to detect and install the device. It was recognized within seconds. The first thing I checked was the USB connection, by plugging in an optional wireless mouse USB dongle, and it was recognized almost immediately. I then tested the USB flash drive and it was also recognized quickly and allowed access to my files. This adapter has an HDMI port, which the HP Envy 13 doesn't have. I connected an HDMI cable to both the adapter and the TV. There was a delay of about 30 seconds followed by a brief flicker, then picture and sound started coming out of my Sony Bravia X900F 4K TV. I played some 4K videos and the picture looked really good. The last thing I tried to check was charging. The HP Envy 13 laptop supports charging from the power port or the USB-C port. When I connected the same fast charger that I use for my Samsung Galaxy S10e to the JUEYING hub, the laptop didn't seem to start charging . I've never used USB-C charging on a laptop and this may require a much more powerful charger. I wanted to buy a USB-C hub, but in my honest opinion I had the opportunity to get this adapter at a discount. Overall, I'm happy with the JUEYING USB C Hub and it costs a good $20-$30. I couldn't get USB-C charging to work, so I'm deducting a star. If anything changes in the future I will update my review accordingly.
