Sewing is easy but probably not for beginners. The thread has been sorted. I think Bucilla is the only company that doesn't sort topics in any way. In this set all the colors were divided into 20 pieces each containing 1 to 3 colors so it was very easy to work out which color was which as the pieces were numbered and described. So no flower puzzles. Dimensions is the only company you're likely to run out of floss from, there are plenty of them in this set. The only problem with this is the background: it's actually off-white or light beige, not dark gray as shown in the photo. If you really want a dark gray background you will need to change the fabric. Aida has a lot of 1/4 seams which can be annoying as it doesn't fit at all. The mixed thread is only used for part of the wings; I bought more and added it to most of the angels as it looks better.
