My passenger side xenon headlight went out on my E90 328Xi and after some troubleshooting including replacing the xenon bulb I found that the ballast had failed. After looking at OEM dealer and online prices I decided to give this ballast a try. The reviews were good. Happy to report that it works as described. Below are some notes about the product and its installation. I hope it helps. The ballast comes nicely packaged in a static bag. It is recommended to replace the cable that connects the ballast to the xenon. lightbulb, not me. I reused an existing old cable and it worked. Replacing it on the passenger side requires a few steps including removing the bumper, headlight assembly, front wheels and fenders to access the xenon headlight at the rear. bumper and easy access to the rear of the headlight assembly, I converted the fog light bulbs to LED from the factory and also replaced the angel eyes with LED by installing a LUX V6 LED Angel Eye bulb. This job seems like a lot of work and a bit intimidating for a beginner like me, but it took about 2 hours from start to finish (and I'm far from an expert). Get this ballast, do it yourself and save a lot of money.
