I ordered and received this over a month ago but used it for the first time today. I use 1/2" rebar as "stakes" in my yard. Some of the stakes are 8 feet long and should go 2-3 feet into the ground. I've used a hammer before. But it's very inconvenient, especially over his head. As a result, he couldn't take it anymore and ordered the driver's post. This is the one I chose. Somewhat average in height and weight, but I thought it would do for my dashboard. I was right, it works very well. It's very well constructed, very durable. Good welding and painting or maybe powder coating. It will last a long time. Some reviewers have mentioned the weight. If I drove fence posts all day I'm sure I'd be as tired as everyone others. But for a couple of garden stakes it was ok. Really good postman. I will take him into my confidence as he will definitely last longer than me.
