Review on POWERTEC 71007 220V Paddle Switch by George Bell

, I haven't used the switch yet but I'm ready to install it after tomorrow's changes. Several comments have complained that the switch does not fit in any box or only fits after conversion. I took the breaker to an electronics store because I figured they might have the 'special' boxes needed to install the breaker that your regular big box store doesn't have. There is NO box that the switch fits in. The spacing between the centers of the mounting screws is about half a hole too wide to use threaded holes on any box, deep or not, with or without an extension. I think I can modify the switch enough to make it fit. It would be pretty easy for the seller to solve this problem by selling the switch box. Adding a box causes an issue with strain reliefs that need to be added as well. A box of Romex clips will work just fine and be cheap enough not to cost much more. I like the sharp click of the ON button and the fact that it takes a concerted effort to activate. After assembling this thing, I seal it with caulk to keep dust out, but I'll definitely be upset if it boils, like one of Nelson's comments, or fills up with sawdust and stops working, like another comment . If any of this happens, I'll definitely say something. Works or not I will not buy anything from this seller again.
