This block is very similar to the GNC Bullet Mixer I had. So much so that the covers are interchangeable. It has more features than GNC and that's the only nice thing about it. Bad design for several reasons. They redesigned the seal in the blade part of the blender. When you screw it onto the cup container, you need to screw it tight to prevent leakage. If you remove it to replace with a drinking lid, the seal will catch on the rim of the jar and come out of the blender lid. It wouldn't be a major inconvenience other than actually being too small in diameter to easily fit back into the groove where it's going. Stick it in one side and it pops out the other side. There are also raised areas, I assume this is to hold the seal in place during use, but they just prevent your fingers from pushing the seal fully into the perimeter of the grooves. Therefore, it becomes more difficult to keep the seal in the groove. Another design flaw other than the GNC block is that when attempting to remove or swap out the mixer, you accidentally press the power button and start the block while holding it down to grab the top and bottom for removal. With the GNC model, you had to twist the dial to turn it off or select a speed so it couldn't be accidentally turned on. Find and return another block that is flawed in design. Too bad I read the reviews first.
