Review on OMAX Digital Microscope Calibration Compatible Camera & Photo by David Boone

This is a pretty good camera at a very low price. I bought this for work. Most likely, we will use it to measure thermal spraying of coatings, analyze the grain structure of materials and assess the quality of the weld. The calibration sled worked well for our application. Measure the layer thickness on a known sample and measure the correct value. (This value was 0.008 inches, so not very small.) Please note that these are my first impressions. I unpacked and installed it today. I will update if anything changes. At this point I'm very happy with the capabilities of this camera for the price.First edit - I wanted to get a longer USB A Male to B Male cable for this camera. This product is for the included 6ft -Cable calibrated I overdid it and tried to buy a 13ft cable. This could not turn on the camera. I ended up using a 10 foot willow and it works. I'm not sure if I'm sacrificing camera quality or functionality by doing this, but it works.
