After months of use; This fabric softener is by far the best I've ever tried. I use it for steaks, chicken and pork chops and always get great results. After trimming the meat, I sprinkle it with seasoned meat tenderizer and use this tenderizer to pierce the meat on both sides. I then chill in the marinade for several hours. The meat is always tender and juicy. The shape of the meat tenderizer fits comfortably in your hand and requires very little or moderate effort depending on the thickness/toughness of the meat. My previous method of choice was the softening hammer. This worked, but made a lot more mess because of the spatter. This tenderizer is more efficient, has little to no mess. Cleaning this meat tenderizer is easy. I spray the blades with Clorox Clean-up (first the tops of the blades, then the tips) and leave it in the sink for a few minutes, then give it a good rinse with hot water. It doesn't get much easier than that. I was a little worried about the blades dulling but I've used them a lot and they're still like new. I will always have one in my kitchen.
