An essential item in the kitchen!

This solid meat tenderizer. The main feature that sets it apart from the rest is the handle. I can't count how many fabric softeners I've seen that don't have a handle. This feature ensures even pressure on all blades and keeps your hand off the blades.

Very quick and easy to use

Very quick and easy to use. Penetrates very hard fat and cartilage. Works better than others I've tried and a lot easier than pounding meat. The only minor complaint is that it's difficult to make sure it's cleaned well after use. Would have no hesitation in recommending to a friend if I had one.

I've worked in the hospitality industry all my life.

I've been in the restaurant business all my life and they are $40 at a restaurant supply store. This is exactly the secret weapon used by one of America's largest steakhouses, but at a much more affordable price. Buy it and never eat meat like you used to. Tip: 1 row from top to bottom, 1 row from the side. Flip and repeat. Then brine or marinade for 4-24 hours.

Housecleaning is best in Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

The needles are very thin and require care when cleaning and especially when dipping into meat. Make sure there is no bone or gristle on the handle before squeezing it. What I don't like the most is that the handle is hollow and after cleaning it can collect water and soap inside. You need to shake it out and wet it with soapy water before softening it again. I wouldn't put the lid on until the tenderizer is completely dry.

Does a great job but handle with care!

Local supermarkets don't sell sliced steaks like they used to. This fabric softener is suitable for sirloin steaks and steaks. When piercing the steak on both sides, make sure there is space between the piercings and in opposite directions. Too many punctures and your steak will fall apart while you season or cook it. Anyway, I went to Whole Foods about a year ago and ordered a steak on a hanger. This is an excellent, fragrant and tender piece of meat. I was nowhere near the best at tenderizers

I bought 2 previous Jaccard tenderizers for over $20 each and found them to work really well until I bought CCfoud. It seems easy, but don't let that fool you.
