Review on π Original 44W Charger AC Adapter for Microsoft Surface Pro 5 (Model 1796) & Surface Book 2 13.5" - 15V 2.58A 1800 by Trish Stott
Died in less than a month
I doubt the authenticity of this supposedly genuine Microsoft charger and it stopped working before it was a month old, but of course only a few days after the return deadline. Another charger works fine with the same laptop. The light almost never comes on when plugged in and the laptop shows connected then disconnected in an endless loop. Yes I tried cleaning the contacts but it didn't help.
