Bought for use when traveling and away from a large monitor. I wanted something that would raise the laptop screen so I wouldn't have to bend my neck and it works great. It is very inconvenient to use the keyboard when the laptop is on the stand, so I strongly recommend using a second keyboard and mouse. I think it's good that you can put the keyboard on the legs of the stand so that I can get the monitor closer, but that's only possible with a small keyboard, a large one can wobble. The stand was a bit heavier than I would have liked. wanted but I think it has to be that heavy to be that strong yet compact. It's very durable and I can type on the keyboard with ease (although, as I said, it's impractical). Overall it does exactly what I wanted and comes with a handy storage pouch next to my laptop and keyboard without scratching anything. I would recommend this stand if you want to elevate your laptop monitor.
