Somewhat surprised I haven't seen more reviews mentioning poor focusing. Now understand that these are great value binoculars and you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to optics. The image is normal at best up to about 25x. Beyond that, everything is noticeably blurry, but then again, good for $40 I think. The real problem with them, however, is the focus. When you turn the focus wheel, it moves both eyepieces in or out. The first thing I noticed was that the focus is not constant. For example, if you rotated the focus and the image came into focus, and then you went past it and back again, everything changed and the focus point changed significantly. The next time you focus both eyes will change as you zoom in and out. If you focus at maximum zoom, zoom out, and then again and again, the focus changes completely. Eventually I found at least one problem. When you adjust the focus, the eyepieces do not go in/out at the same constant speed. They actually swing/swing from side to side. I thought maybe I have a bad pair and called BARSKA. I explained the problem and asked if this was normal or if I had a defective pair. They told me they were cheap and that was fine. In general, I spent too much time concentrating on these things. Once focused, the image isn't bad at 25x or less. But the moment you change the zoom, you have to completely refocus again, and the process was messy. I personally decided to spend $120 and try Nikon. I'll post the difference here once I have them. So if you're on a tight budget, that's fine. If not spend more for a better pair.
