I really liked this laptop stand - it looks very sleek and durable. However, I have a fairly hefty laptop (8 pounds) and as soon as I put it on the stand, the stand fell through. The kit included a key, but even after tightening the connections, the stand just can't support the weight of the laptop. Too bad, otherwise I really liked it! For lighter laptops this will probably work just fine.
