The hitch does what it was designed to do. It looked flimsy at first and I thought my fork would slip out, but the fork is quite snug. In my setup, I mounted the hitch on a 2x6 board that I put in the back of a truck. That way I can rent a 2x6 and use a full bed without anything sticking out. You also need to secure the rear wheel somehow or it will wobble when you take your truck into tight corners. I have a ratchet weight bar that I put on top of the rear wheel to hold it in place and attached it with velcro. move forward and backward. I tried oiling this part and it helped a few. I checked out a Delta Pro2 bike clutch at a bike shop recently, it's $10 more but seems to be much more durable and the mechanism feels smoother.
