Review on So Danca Stretch Canvas Light Sports & Fitness for Other Sports by Adolfo Goins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light, elastic, confident

*Last update* Now officially my favorite shoe. When dancing full time I can get about 6-8 weeks out of a pair before they start leaking (after that I will continue to use them in class but not on stage of course). I had to fiddle around with the measurements a bit, but since I figured out the exact size I need, even with the new pair of SD26s, the elastic no longer cuts into the heel unless my ankle is swollen (I'm currently treating one Sprain, aaaaa -.- ). Good flats should almost be forgotten when dancing, and Danka achieved that goal for me. Lightweight and breathable, the SD16 fits my foot and doesn't turn into a wet mess halfway through the show (I'm sweating like a racehorse, y'all). However, different feet are like different shoes, according to YMMV. To give you an idea, my feet are fairly narrow, extremely flexible, with high arches, very high arches, short talus, long second toe, and a large taper from toe two through five. My ankle joints (like all my joints) are hypermobile. Someone with a longer talus may need a deeper heel cup (Bloch Synchrony and Pro Elastic models can be good options). Someone with a lower instep will probably be happy with a much wider range of shoes than I am and may find this model too low. even at the end of the day in my Achilles tendon. They could become my new favorite shoes. Upgrade to 5 stars but be aware they may need a break in period. First Rating: I like them almost as much as Bloch's Synchronys. They are lightweight, very stretchy and look great. The fit is very precise - they don't dangle in a few turns. I wear them every day for the first week and a half of company classes and rehearsals and am very happy with them. The only downside (no pun intended) is that after a few hours they dig into your Achilles tendon. ' Tendon a little. It's probably a question of how my feet and ankles are made. It's not bad enough to cause injury, but it makes them my second choice instead of my first choice. Also, it's a great choice for dancers of all levels.
