This clumping light Champs litter was initially ignored by my cat. I made the mistake of putting all of this litter in the bowl as the previous litter he used had a different smell. I quickly realized that in order for my picky cat to get used to this new litter, you have to mix half of this litter with half of the previous one. As with anything else, you'll need to teach your kitty something new if you want him to use it. I definitely smelled a strange odor emanating from this new pen when I opened my bag and took out the pen. Moisture is our moisture. It does not dust and traces of it are minimal. In terms of odor control, this filler does a pretty good job of blocking odors for several days. I find smell very important in determining if a cat likes a litter and my cat doesn't seem to like that smell too much. Overall, it has taken some time to integrate this product into my pet's daily routine, but there's no denying that it works well. as cat litter, and it features moisture and odor control with minimal mess. I will use the rest of this litter but will not buy more in the future.
