The product description seems to imply that it doesn't have an artificial scent as it just says it contains an "odor resistant deodorizing system" and doesn't give any other information about the scent, but it definitely has an artificial scent. This clumping light Champs litter was initially ignored by my cat. I made the mistake of putting all of this litter in the bowl as the previous litter he used had a different smell.
