Review on Softan Fleece Breathable Winter Sheets by Shaun Schatz

I think everyone has a different idea of what fleece is and these sheets aren't fleece. They are flannel. I have several sets of fleece sheets and the difference in how I feel and feel is immediate. Fleece has a distinctively soft, fluffy feel and feels the same on both sides of the sheet. They're softer than cotton sheets but don't have the distinct fleece feel. In addition, the underside of the top film is smooth, shiny and a bit slippery. Fleece isn't smooth - it's fluffy. I held a fleece cloth in one hand and this in the other. There is no doubt how different they are. Don't think that these are just different manufacturers. I have 4 sets of fleece from different manufacturers and they are all the same. I also have flannel sheets and they match the feel of my flannel sheets in comparison. Thinking they would look more like fleece after washing, I was disappointed when they didn't. And although I wash my colored laundry in cold water, the fitted sheet has shrunk and is no longer as secure under the mattress as it was before the wash. If you want real wool, look elsewhere.
