In a pre-purchase conversation with Ram, I asked them how stable it is. They assured me that it was very stable. Well, that's far from true. Yes, very easy to install, that was right. But once I started using it I found it quite unstable. It shakes while driving to the point where it's impossible to look at the screen and see anything but a blur. After only a week of use I had to remove the shaft and sharpen the sprag while the shaft was moving.
