Edit: The coil whine was due to the audio function of the monitor. And NO, the coil howl didn't go away when I lowered the monitor volume to 0. When I used an HDMI splitter that didn't support 75Hz audio (which this monitor does), the coil howl went away completely. It was a win for me because I never use a monitor speaker anyway. Overall good value for money. The monitor supports DP and HDMI versions for 75 Hz at 1440p. I don't quite understand why they have menu buttons at the bottom of the screen. If they wanted to keep the front of the monitor clean they could put buttons on the side or something. The buttons at the bottom make it difficult to press, not to mention having to check which button is doing what it's doing every time I press it (hard to remember because I don't press these buttons often). Initially there were some problems - no dead pixels, light asymmetry, etc. About a month later, an annoying noise began to be heard behind the monitor. Upon closer inspection, this seemed to be due to the rear USB hub. It sounded like coil whine, similar to what you hear from a failed power supply. I've tried troubleshooting methods e.g. B. changing the color, reaction settings, etc., but nothing worked. What worked for me was switching the connection from DP to HDMI; This completely removed the coil hum.
