Review on Honda 91231-891-003 Oil Seal (6X11X4): Genuine Replacement Part for Honda Engines by Haggis Bryant

Advantages: Original Honda part in Honda packaging. The inner diameter corresponds to the size of the protruding governor shaft. Bad luck: Apparently Honda has made structural changes to the casting in the relevant area on its GCV160 engines. The sides of the governor shaft bore on my engine are narrowed creating a tapered bore that makes it impossible to install this oil seal. This part is intended for installation in a flat-bottomed, straight-walled duct. I didn't know there were design changes because I hadn't done a thorough research, so I made it an issue for myself. It's not the seller's fault, so I'm writing a review accordingly.
