Life Saving! And saves money/time too! I have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix whose teeth weren't in a horrible condition to begin with but I was starting to notice plaque build up despite being a fairly avid bone chewer. After spending hours (yes, literally hours) searching online for products, I stumbled upon this awesome stuff! Either that or start brushing your teeth. Knowing myself and my dog, I realized that brushing my teeth wouldn't work, at least not regularly enough to make a real difference, so I decided to try this plaque remover and I'm so happy I did have! That works great! I was initially a little apprehensive about some of the mixed reviews, but another reviewer offered some advice that really helped. He/she said you need to stick with it for a few months before there is any noticeable improvement. We're almost done with our first 4-ounce container in almost four months (the scoop in the container is so tiny the product lasts quite a while) and her teeth are as white as they were when she was a little puppy. She is a large dog (around 75 pounds) and my partner and I have been very consistent in making sure she gets her supplement every day. I have a feeling that some of the bad reviews might be because people lack consistency or aren't sticking with the product long enough. She continues to chew her bone regularly, which helps remove loose plaque, but I'm sure this product has improved her dental health beyond chewing alone could achieve. The price can be a little intimidating, but given the durability of the product and the fact that it actually works, I really don't mind paying. Also, $22 is a lot cheaper than the vet's bill for an anesthetic and a teeth cleaning, not to mention the safety concerns of using an anesthetic. I love that the product is made from organic and minimal ingredients with no bad things added. There is nothing in the product that will harm your pet and the label includes instructions for different weight classes so it will last even longer for small dogs/cats. The fact that it helps repel insects and aids in digestion are just added bonuses from what I understand. But the best bonus? Take care of your pet's teeth with ease! Shovel, sprinkle, done! She doesn't seem to bother (or notice) the flavor at all. Will definitely order again! For your health!
