Review on 🔌 Efficient and Portable: VIAIR 85P Portable Air Compressor, Black by Mark Toth

I bought this compressor about 2 years ago and was unfortunately disappointed. Despite great reviews, my compressor has only caused disappointment. I'm not sure if I received a defective unit or if this is just the expected performance for these compressors. I have 17 inch tires, for reference 215/55/17. They are rated for a maximum pressure of 44psi and my automaker's manual recommends inflating the tires to 38psi. This compressor will not inflate the tire above 30psi until it gets too hot and then shuts off. I would have to wait a good 5-10 minutes before inflating another tire to 30psi if needed. 30psi is better than 0 if you have an apartment and need to limp back to a gas station/house where you can inflate your tires to safe pressures, but it's not worth the money or inconvenience of this machine. I totally regret the purchase and would recommend going with a more reputable company and a compressor that you can either test drive in store or one that is well over priced for what you need for your car. That way you know exactly what he will do at least take care of your needs. 1 star across the board.
