Don't expect the mic connector to last more than a week or so. This is my second controller, the first was replaced for the same reason. The microphone jack is so poorly made that it will be almost impossible to use with a headset in a week or two. Absolute sham, $200+ elite controllers are no better. The only way to reliably use the mic on the Xbox 1 is to buy a $40 mini HDMI mic adapter. I won't buy anything Xbox related anymore. Burned too many times from cheap production.
