On-screen images are only good when viewed directly (perpendicular) to the screen. When viewed from a slight angle (for example, when the monitor is placed slightly below your viewing angle because it's on a desk and you're looking slightly down), color, clarity, and brightness change significantly. When viewed at right angles from the eye to the monitor, the images are fine. But what can you expect from a monitor at this price. A better rated (and more expensive) Dell monitor performs much better.
