Purchased to measure distance when shooting at targets. I chose this one because it hits 1200 yards (that's more than I'll ever need!). But just in case, I would prefer the best option. I also liked the look of the device. Kind of a dark earthy green tone. I made a good choice. There are a few reviews that give different claims and my attached video review proves this is 100% false. If you place the reticle in the same place, you are guaranteed the same reading. I took three pictures at different distances with 0% error. :) It has multiple modes including distance, speed measurement mode (like police lasers) and golf mode. You can also keep the device on a moving target and it will continue to take real-time measurements. I like that there is a tripod mount at the bottom (standard screw). It helped me with my 100 yard shots. I also like that it has a built-in battery. No more disassembling and fiddling with batteries. Still five stars. Highly recommended. Take my word for it and get GoGoGo. You will not regret it.
