I used this cable along with the one below to turn my Nikon D7000 into a great photo booth along with two Alien Bees B400 flashes and a white muslin background. I also use a Cybersync transmitter and receiver. Allows a guest to enter a photo booth (it's just a mini studio) that I can put in the corner at wedding receptions etc. The foot pedal, along with the pre-launch cable, allows subjects to make their own recordings and be as fun as they want. It seems that having a photographer behind the camera keeps people from going out and being as funny as they are when they know there's no one behind the camera. I have an assistant who has props like hats and mustaches on sticks and chalkboards etc for guests to write whatever they want. The users are blurred The camera is mounted with a 50mm main lens and covers the entire background. (also another reason to have a helper). I tried the Eye-Fi card along with the Nikon USB Wifi card and for the money the Transcend card was the best value. I leave the camera in live view so it never loses connection to the iPad if the Wi-Fi card is disconnected. Because of this, I also needed a power cord for my camera. The iPad is also connected to a power source.
