Review on πŸ” Rybozen 4 Port VGA KVM Switch for Display Monitor Sharing with 3 USB Ports for Wireless Keyboard, Mouse, and USB Printer Connection, Independent Button Switching by Daniel Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do

Interesting reviews, and I noticed that the review title currently has a statement that isn't true - that you have to turn on the computer before you can select it . So I'm wondering if multiple models will be sold. Be sure to use the dropdown menu when filtering reviews. But. it works. It's pretty raw - no dedicated toggle buttons (hooray! They never work properly.), no remote on the cord (oh, that's very handy), just four buttons on the front that light up but not too brightly - when that happens - something is connected and the current selection is flashing. This KVM is switch type, meaning selecting a different computer effectively disconnects the monitor and USB items from the computer you are using and reconnects them to the new selection. It probably won't make much of a difference, but it does mean there's a delay of around ten seconds while the newly selected computer recognizes a connected keyboard and mouse and determines what resolution your monitor can achieve. It gets 5* not because it can't be beat, but because for the price you probably can't get any better and probably can't justify spending on more advanced models when you only need to swap one monitor, keyboard and mouse between four computers. Very good. I recommend it.
