
Overall, very good glass. Before that I used 400 mm 5.6 L, they are almost identical in sharpness. In my subjective opinion, I didn’t make direct comparisons, the fix resolves the details a little better, but due to the lack of a stabilizer from the fix, it’s more difficult to get a sharp picture, purely physically, from the hands. I took this lens precisely because of the stabilizer and compact size.
