Great pump and easy install if you're not trying to disassemble the old unit. I spent a lot of time taking apart an old Select Comfort pump and ended up cutting off the tubing anyway. The cordless replacement air bed pump comes with its own fittings. Simply unscrew the fitting from the side of the tube and slide the compressor ring onto the tube. Install the new fitting and then thread the compressor ring onto the fitting to secure the hose. Then pull back the connector sleeve and snap the new fitting onto the pump, loosening the sleeve ring to secure the tubing. Insert batteries into the remote control and connect the 12V power supply to the pump. The LED changes color from red to green when connected to the remote control. The instructions on the back of the remote control and the instructions that came with it clearly explain how the remote control and pump work. I let it pump to 50 (quite hard) and then lowered it to my comfort level.
