The thought of using the back seat was a bad idea. With them, they are large enough to prevent your seat from sliding enough to allow everyone to comfortably get in and out of the back seat. If you have a 4-door jeep, no problem. If you have a real 2-door Jeep, this item may not suit you. This solves the need for a little more storage space and quick access to everyday items. However, if you're traveling with more than just you and one other person, you run the risk of ripping them off trying to get into the back seat. If the design were a quarter inch narrower that would be perfect and wouldn't affect seat movement. Otherwise overall good design and quality, stays in place, no design and not an expensive purchase.
