Review on 💧 Hydrapak Shape-Shift 2L Reservoir: Optimal Hydration Solution for Outdoor Adventures by Kaushik Sokolowski

I felt compelled to post a review to resolve a volume issue raised by another user review that I felt was misleading. The volume of the tank is 3 liters when open and 2.5 liters when closed. Another reviewer suggested this refers to the top locking clip as the lock, but this refers to the Shape Shifter spline inside the bag. It can be locked and unlocked at will, but locking reduces the bulge in the bag, which reduces the overall volume. It comes with instructions on how to unlock the spline and it's very simple. I'm planning to use mine as a "dirty" bag for a gravity filtration system for an upcoming hike, so I don't need a baffle and will just cut it out to save some weight (0.32 ounces saved).
