Another reviewer suggested this refers to the top locking clip as the lock, but this refers to the Shape Shifter spline inside the bag. This Hydrapak bottle is well designed compared to its main competitor. I emptied the divider inside to accommodate the 2 liter capacity and don't think I'll be using the divider again so this isn't necessary. I have HydraPak 2L and 3L; They are almost identical except that 3L is longer. I use them for trail running and hiking and am pretty picky about my gear. The point of the HydraPak for me is that the closure is absolutely secure. It is almost impossible to collect the bladder and not seal it properly. No thread has to be crossed, no O-ring wears out. Unless your HydraPak has been punctured you can rest assured that it will hold water and not leak, and that really is all that matters. I really…
