I was very surprised to see this thin thing. At best, it's 14 gauge. And if there's copper underneath, that's some of the worst chrome plating I've ever seen. A bending test shows that it is steel. So chrome steel. This means it will NOT bend easily. Even a broken "cutting part" that is thin enough, like the blade of a dull knife, will not bend. Well, as long as it's not brittle and I don't check to see if it breaks!
