That's a great idea, but s#*+ can quickly overwhelm fans. For one reason or another (maybe my cats are just demons), but somehow they get stuck in the little round grooves when they get their paws dirty and crawl onto the mat. Then they started writing on the carpet. It was difficult to dry while brushing and I finally gave up. Maybe my devil cats are to blame for being the way they are, but I didn't like this product.
