Review on ☕ BUNN 6001 12-Cup Commercial Coffee Filters, Pack of 500, Color: White by James Jones

Much better than store bought 8-12 cup filters

I bought a Revain Hamilton Beach Two Brew machine on Black Friday. This machine has a carafe for 12 cups. So I bought regular 8-12 cup food basket filters. This is my first time using a filter coffee maker. I'm an espresso person. In any case, I followed the recommendation to put a tablespoon of ground coffee in every cup of carafe. I noticed that the coffee had overflowed and poured it into the carafe, which annoyed me a lot. I thought the problem was with the machine or the type of coffee. I changed the type of coffee and tried to use less. Even with less coffee, the overflow was noticeable. I started doing some research and observing other people's experiences. I realized that the problem is not in the car or coffee, but in the filters. Most people complained about cheap store bought filters. In fact, I don't understand how they describe how they "fit most 8-12 coffee makers" and they don't last much. I have found many positive reviews of commercial Bunn filters that they fit 12 coffee maker kettles without overflowing at all. They are larger than store bought ones. So I decided to give it a try because I really wanted a delicious cup of coffee. You can get a 500 filter for about $14! That's a good deal. In the photos I have compared Bunn's filters to others. You can see the obvious difference in size and performance when brewing coffee. That's why I give these filters 5 stars, although I found two minuses. First the packaging was opened and not sealed. Second, the filters sometimes stick together too tightly to pull one out. Nevertheless I give 5 stars. I recommend them for large coffee pots. I could use others to make 6 or more cups of coffee, that's all.
