Due to the size of these lamps, one of my lamps has the inner lens broken. However, since it is only internal and the light bulb itself glows red, it still works in terms of color. However, the resistance they use to simulate the train is so cheap that when heated it loses resistance and the machine goes back into hyper-flash mode. So basically if your running lights are on and then you use your turn signal it will go into a hyper flash or if you leave your turn signal on for a short period of time like after 15 seconds like sitting at a stop light it will go hyper again flash. A way of hitting the target when I need to buy a separate load resistor to use in conjunction with these lamps.
