Do not drag over rough surfaces

They work great on smooth floors. For example, if you pull on a carpet, the felt can come loose. I used them to protect my new vinyl plank floor. I put them on chairs, a small table and a large table with heavy legs. Used a few pieces on a heavy table. I tore off another piece of felt padding and dragged the heavy table across the carpet. Nothing is bulletproof. I would buy them again. I used a pilot hole for screws in hardwood. The drill bit should be slightly smaller than the shank (not the thread) of the screw.
