Maxell XLII-S does its job perfectly.
I needed a quality cartridge to test my Nakamichi CR-7A deck, but couldn't find a preferred metal version. This Maxell performed reasonably well, retaining the warm tonal quality of the Talisman S pickup through a Klyne SK-5 preamp. If you find metal cassettes, take them. The rest of the Maxell XLII-S does its job well.
