Much cheaper than buying the whole lamp housing
Replacement lamp for my projector with housing costs about 3 times more than this lamp. Installation was easier than I thought and only took about 10 minutes. You'll need a set of tiny (microscopic) screwdrivers, a magnifying glass, and steady hands, but it's worth it if you save about $70 for 10 minutes of work. In general I am very happy and satisfied. The lamp was just what I needed for my projector and the new bulb works great. Shipping was pretty quick too, so I was able to start watching movies again quickly.
