I was sure I got or ordered the wrong item when it arrived and it was so small! (Think of a giant foil survival blanket in a small envelope). The pouch was about the size of a thick travel pillow. I ordered this for a 2005 Prius hatchback and was very skeptical, but had reason to use it a few days later when the ice and snow arrived. The driver's side zipper made it much easier to find alignment than without it, but a little wind still made this boot harder to put on compared to the heavier multi-layer covers I've used on other vehicles. After that, the straps held the case well with a clip under the front and back, as well as an elastic band. The ice and snow turned out to be heavier and wetter than expected, so removing the cover wasn't easy, but the fabric seemed to hold up well even with a lot of tension. Go to work, I think, what now with that? It's easy to stuff in a small laundry box and hide under a chair on the porch. Win! I was pleasantly surprised at the overall ease of use.
